Another mission to a dark sky zone in the Tahoe National Forest to watch the Perseid meteor shower. This 13 second exposure photo was created with the help of an iPhone to light up the runway and red light from a headlamp to mark the spot I needed to nose slide at. Michele used the test fire function on my flash to freeze me in place. As streaks of fire lit up the sky I did my best to not lean in too far on the nose slide. Going over the rail would have resulted in falling 15 feet into a cold rocky river.
